Hi, My name is Claire Adams and I have always worked in finance, previously looking after huge budgets (of £14 million) for a well-known investment group; analysing expenses and ensuring the company stays on plan for the year. I have also supervised teams and project managed, again all within the financial sector.
As for bookkeeping, I have 10 years experience looking after sole traders and ltd company accounts. This has afforded me an extensive knowledge of the industry. With all that experience, I decided it was time to take the plunge and start my own company: Paper Trail Bookkeeping. I like to keep things simple for my clients. That means no unnecessary paperwork requirements (a plastic bag of receipts is just fine) and absolutely no jargon. I use the latest software – Sage 50 Accounts, Xero Cloud Accounting and QuickBooks – to ensure accurate reports in a recognised format.
I’ll be as involved as you need; working with you quarterly, monthly or every day if required. My sole aim is to take the stress of bookkeeping off your hands, giving you more time to focus on your business.
