As we near the end of the current tax year, I thought it might be prudent to look ahead at what the next year might bring. There are lots of dates and deadlines to be aware of, and it can be overwhelming trying to remember them all. To help you stay compliant and avoid late penalties, I’ve put together this UK tax calendar. It includes HMRC’s key dates for the self-employed and PAYE, so it gives you plenty of time to prepare for deadlines.

Note: not all of these dates will apply to you, but I recommend making a note of the ones that do.

5th April 2020:

- Last day of the 2019/2020 tax year.
- Deadline for submitting a PAYE tax rebate claim for the year 2015/2016.
- Deadline for claiming overpaid tax for the year 2015/2016 under self-assessment.
